International Criminal Court is “a Tool of the West”

The EU’s disregard for the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) rulings against Israel shows it is a “fake justice” institution, Drago Bosnic, a military expert and contributor to the Bangladeshi Blitz weekly, has told RT.
The ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in November 2024, on charges of committing war crimes in Gaza. charges Israel rejects as baseless and “absurd.”
Netanyahu, despite the warrant against him, is set to visit Hungary this week. Prime Minister Viktor Orban has promised not to enforce the ICC’s decision. Poland has also said it will not arrest Netanyahu. EU foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, who refused to urge member states to comply with the warrant, made a high-profile trip to Israel last month.

Is former Philippine president Rodrigo Roa Duterte guilty of mass-murder and “crimes against humanity”, in the Philippines, under his administrations as a mayor, and as a president?
That’s a question for the Philippine court system. That’s a judgement only a court of law under the Philippine Constitution can deliver.
If not, then the Philippines effectively lost its sovereignty a whole while ago. Without the explicit consent of the people. That includes you if you are a Filipino!

The Republic of the Philippines lost its sovereignty…
But did it really?
According to the ICC, the pseudo-court retains jurisdiction over the Philippines for the years that the country’s government was a signatory to the Rome Statute. So, including the years that Duterte was mayor, and president.
But what about the fact that the Rome Statute is in reality part of a long-term hostile campaign by the international communitarian movement against sovereign nations and their constitutions?
What about the fact that the Philippine government, officially, does not recognize the perceived authority and jurisdiction of the communitarian ICC? The Rome Statute is no longer a recognized, ratified, document in the Philippines.
Because the Rome Statute does not operate under, and is not protected or enforced by, the Philippine Constitution – it merely operates within the communitarian law system, a pseudo-law system – it is therefore a completely irrelevant document. As irrelevant as the pseudo-court it represents.
Israel’s “Supreme Court of Mankind”
What about the fact that the ICC always has been one of the Israeli government’s attempts to install a ‘world court’, a ‘final authority on everything’? To freely have at its disposal as it brutally imposes “Gaza 2035”, carves out “Greater Israel”, exploits the Chinese government’s Belt and Road Initiative (to have more leverage against other countries), and builds “the Third Temple”. All at the expense of national sovereignty – your sovereignty, and national constitutions.

Israel was deeply involved in the discussions leading up to the creation of the ICC, participating in meetings, contributing legal expertise (communitarian law), and shaping debates (to control the narrative) on jurisdiction and war crimes.
However, due to concerns about specific provisions in the Rome Statute, especially those related to illegal settlements, the Israeli government ultimately did not ratify the treaty. Though, it did sign it on December 31, 2000.
David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first Prime Minister, admitted that his wing of zionism, too, envisioned a future in which Jerusalem would become the spiritual and legal center of the world. He spoke of a future “Supreme Court of Mankind” in Jerusalem, implying a role for Israel in guiding global justice and morality. Yes, morality, too! Hard to believe. Right?
Because Israel wants to use the ICC to move toward an eventual “Supreme Court of Mankind” in Jerusalem, the Israeli government still has strong ties with very important western institutions and governments, and promotes its own judiciary as a model for global legal frameworks (communitarian law system).

And there are several other ways for the Israeli government to exploit the ICC and its existence.
Israeli legal scholars and judges could seek greater roles in international tribunals, influencing ICC precedent.
The ICC could be restructured or weakened by parallel courts that align with Israeli legal doctrine, positioning Jerusalem as a superior legal hub (thesis – antithesis – synthesis).
If Israel and allies (the U.S. government, for instance) discredit the ICC (by exposing biases, inefficiencies, or corruption), they could push for a new international legal body. A new ‘court’, potentially based in Jerusalem, could be framed as an alternative to the ICC, with ‘broader legitimacy’.
Through U.S. and E.U. support, Israel could advocate for a global legal conference hosted in Jerusalem, laying the groundwork for a new permanent judicial institution. In 1979, Benjamin Netanyahu organized the “Jerusalem Conference on International Terrorism” where he and his father presented for the first time the caricatured ‘Muslim terrorist’, as popularized ever since by Hollywood in many, many movies. A new conference with similar or more impact is, thus, realistic especially in today’s context of violence and looming, though highly scripted, wars.
If the Israeli government normalizes relations with key Middle Eastern powers, it could present itself as a neutral arbiter for regional and international disputes. Hence the Abraham Accords.
While the ICC is unlikely to willingly cede authority to an Israel-centric court, manufactured global crises or shifts in power can render it obsolete.
Eventually, the Israeli government may push for UN resolutions recognizing Jerusalem as a center for ‘global justice’, under the pretense of preventing vaguely defined national or international crimes.
As for Duterte?
Regardless of his guilt, which is not up to the ICC, it is clear that the Duterte case is being used – exploited, abused – by the ICC, as a trophy, in its desperate efforts to stay relevant. In times when the ICC’s own future is no longer guaranteed at all.
There’s no question, whatsoever, that the ICC is being maneuvered on the global political chessboard, on its way, too, to the dystopian communitarian endgame.
